Young Offenders
We specialise in conducting an introduction to Bushcraft and Survival skills on a one to one basis.
Irrespective of their background students tend to settle into this type of activity, because they are away from their familiar surroundings and out of their normal comfort zone.
Our aim is to give students in particular those with low self-esteem a sense of achievement, most of our wood land projects are hands on which seems to suit students less fortunate on the academic side.
They learn that in the outdoors there are limits, subjects are black and white, and there are no grey areas. Example: if you cannot get your fire going it’s a cold lunch, if you cannot build a correct natural shelter it’s a wet and cold night.
