Schools, Colleges & Youth Organisations
With just under 100 acres of woodland our site and Survival and Outdoor Living Skills location is ideal for schools, colleges and youth organisations. The largest number we have successfully accommodated is 100 students.
We run week long residential camps during the summer and put our success down to the programme (all subjects covered have a life skills survival theme) and our basic no frills approach to outdoor living. In addition we conduct survival activity days and courses whereupon we can produce the programme or the organisation booking can request certain subjects (example: Natural Shelters, Small Game Preparation, and Fire Lighting).
One of our most popular activities is the Survival Relay; teams compete against each other and the clock covering the following subjects:

- Fire by Friction
- Cooking Stand
- Stretchers
- Ground to Air Marking
Schools Colleges and Youth Organisations also use us for their Pre-expedition training if they are planning a trips and expeditions away particularly overseas.
